Littérature américaine

Quel auteur / quel livre serait représentatif de la France ? A cette question j’ai pensé Rabelais ; on m’a suggéré Hugo, j’ai répondu Dumas… il y a aussi Zola, Voltaire… en fait c’est tout le Lagarde et Michard* qu’il faudrait citer.

La Bibliothèque du Congrès présente une exposition sur les livres qui ont façonné l’Amérique, et inclus aussi bien des livres de grammaire, de cuisine que des romans… Ce jeu de miroir est assez intéressant et donne quelques idées de lecture.
